Coles and WW announced a few days ago that they are now closing at 8pm to allow restocking due to the shelf-stripping panic merchants.

Nah, I have enough toilet paper for now. Everyone I speak to though say they only have a few rolls left.

Just reading the news and this is one point in time when I hope we lose our , she'll be right , lazed back attitude.
Thousands are dead and not only the older folks. One lady just gave birth to a baby and then she passed away at 27.
Most of us here probably have a few things wrong with us already! Best keep up the metho and stay home as much as you can .
That's my plan. I just selling a bit on line and staying isolated.
Lots of movies at night on vintage TVs.

Pete

Your certainly not wrong Pete and that’s only the ones you hear about!
Maybe we should make a vintage TV movie playlist while everyone waits it out. It’s gonna be a long time before I go back to Melbourne.

Been listening to the mid-dawn talk-back program on the MMM network, Alan Jones and Ray Hadley for the last week now and there have been numinous reports in regional towns in both N.S.W. and Victoria of bus loads of people of "Asian Appearance" going in on raids of supermarkets in those towns and buying out stock of vital items and denying us of those goods. 😡💢

They are paying Asian students and putting them on buses with shopping lists and raiding regional towns of stuff now.

The federal government should have outlawed this practice of Daigou when they were buying out all the Baby Formula and sending it back to the motherland and now it's happening with our food and toilet paper and other stuff.

More information on the Daigou practice can be seen here:-

Daro that’s simply untoleratable! Communist China at it again and who’s left to suffer? US! I live two hours from Melbourne and I’ve got friends who work at the local supermarket and they’ve been telling me how most days they don’t see a single local! The place just fills in with people from Melbourne and now to hear Asian crowds are getting in on the action really gets to me!
This sort of thing just shouldn’t happen let alone on the scale it’s at now!
One way or another Australia should become independent again instead of our government off selling land to China!
It’s F****** rediculous and it needs to stop

The world's most famous beach was closed today by Waverley Council but in order not to appear prejudiced, they have also closed the other two beaches in their council area, Bronte and Tamarama.

If Los Angeles is the city of angels, Sydney is the city of beaches, with 77 of them bordering the eastern side of the metropolitan area. I passed Newport Beach in the middle of the day and it was well down on visitors. Other councils will probably follow Waverley's lead in the coming days to prevent overcrowding. Police are forcibly ejecting those who refuse to leave. It's not really the best way of becoming famous but Gen Z seems to have adapted to that method.

Bread thieves in the north west Sydney suburb of Riverstone are being hunted down by police. Hint to these fools - bread does have a very short shelf life and it is baked fresh, seven days a week!

Tonight, the PM will be releasing Part 2 of the Commonwealth's national stimulus.

Just got back from Coles - not as bad as I feared - was able to get most things. No bread though - the hoarders must be freezing it, otherwise it will be stale in a couple of days.

As you know, I love conspiracy theories. Here's a very simple question - do you PERSONALLY know of anyone who has the virus? Or even tested positive?

Didn't think so.
