There is NO way I would ever let myself be injected with a Vaccine made in China ,I would just go without.
I don't trust Xi Jinping or believe a word he says, The Chinese people have my sympathy having an extremist party controlling them .
if we look back in time extremist parties have only brought trouble to the world, the 30s and 40s in Europe,, The 30s 40s Asia, The Golf and the list goes on and on ,

Belt and Road is a confusing name for a very sly programme to cajol countries with weak economies into being pawns for China's future war with the West. The Belt is loans from China to fund road and rail infrastructure and the Road is loans from China for sea infrastructure such as ports and shipping lines. Most western countries are avoiding it like the plague that it is but pacific island nations along with many poorer African nations are blindly signing up because it means a better quality of life in the short term because of infrastructure upgrades but many of these nations will default on the loans, and under the contract signed with the CCP, that country effectivly becomes a quasi state of China either until the debt is finally paid back or China just loses patience and walks in like a corporate receiver.
I watched a video about a month ago that stated that Chairman Mao even didn't like Xi Jinping and kept him at arms length from CCP decision-making and policy formulation. This speaks volumes for what a horrendous person Xi is.

Yes its interesting to read and follow what's going on with the Dragon, I have been reading about the South China sea issues for years and ive spent a lot of time in Asia and the people there don't like the Chinese at all , There scared of bully tactics and at the same time there desperate to feed their families so Chinese business is often the only option of employment, But China use to be a peaceful country before Xi Jinping and his ambitions to dominate Asia. The Chinese feel the Rape of Nanjing was only yesterday and the hate still runs deep today so of course, Japan and America are seen as enemy Number 1 and if he has promised his people the return of Taiwan than its only a matter of time before he tries to get it I think

The good news is that I am negative to the China virus. I now just have a common cold to get over.
As for Chairman Dan and his bad handling of security guards in the quarantine hotels - why on earth would you provide a security guard with a chair? It stands to reason that in the wee hours, if they are in a static position, they will fall asleep. They need to be kept on their feet and given shorter shifts - no longer than 8 hours. Giving people the comforts of home at a time when it is normal for people to be sleeping is asking for trouble.

Brad, good news!
Now all you have to do is find the sod that gave you the CC!
Mission Impossible......………
Have to wear gloves and breathing apparatus to dodge the CC.
My insider at Westmead Hospital reports much less staff off work due to FLU and CC.
Shows how much the wog is spread by touch and sneeze and good hygiene limits it.
Fred.

There's still a lot of ignorant people sneezing and coughing on the trains without covering their mouths. Some people are pigs and it is bred into them. When they are stared at they wonder why.

Brad!
Security guards should never have been given that job regardless of the hours. I am a security guard with TS clearances. These guards only have the very basic non clearance licences ie they think their job is to just show up and thats it. Its a job for experienced personnel not the untrained ones I have experienced. I see them at sporting events turning up with mobile phone in their faces and no attention to the job at all.
A lot of the security companies just put bums on seats to fulfill the contract and that is the downfall and the brilliant victorian govt should have known that. Getting the military in to do the job would have been far more effective because they have the discipline to do the job properly. Fully trained security guards with the initiative to do the job properly are like hens teeth and a 12 hour shift is much more desirable.

The security game as changed a lot since I was in the job. Most guards now don't have the size or a plan B such as martial arts training to be able to engage in one-on-one combat with an offender so they are just fodder for whoever they meet in the middle of the night who doesn't like being told what they can and can't do. As you said, a good number just spend the night keeping their phones warm and if I did that when I was supposed to be doing my rounds I'd have got the boot.
It's probably just as well that most guards now aren't allowed to carry things like batons and handcuffs. These weapons started to fall into the wrong hands when a guard would either go cold in the heat of battle or have the attitude that they should go looking for trouble instead of waiting for the trouble to come to them. As for the rest, most can barely speak English let alone use the phonetic alphabet.
I am glad I am out of it these days. External patrols on a cold rainy winter night weren't fun, especially when the wind from the harbour would scream up the hill and render a leather hat and drizabone useless.

Even though we have lots of spaghetti and dunny rolls on the shelves at the moment it makes me wonder how long this will last, and more to the point, how long it'll be before New South Wales is bogged down with the coronavirus like Victoria is at the moment.
Today I was in Katoomba for a while and could not help notice people grouped in dozens outside coffee shops with no masks, no physical distancing observed and completely blase to what is happening around 950km to the south. Katoomba is pretty much a hippie town these days, a bit like inner Melbourne, where people have a habit of disregarding the law and thinking they are bulletproof.

That's pretty much the theme for me - where there is a crowd, just avoid it and pity the fools involved in it.
I sometimes head up that way to go for a long walk in the fresh air and relative solitude. Katoomba has a good pie and sandwich shop called the Katoomba Buttery (Katoomba Street, opposite St Canice's Church) and I am a regular punter there.

Here in Victoria most people are doing the right thing and wearing masks even though they are a royal pain in the proverbial.
I am long sighted these days and need glasses but the mask simply fogs them to the point where I can't see at all.
I've tried all the "cures" but nothing is really effective.
On our usual Monday shop today we saw four constables quizzing a chap who didn't have a mask and was arguing the point with them.
I sincerely hope he was fined or arrested (which they have the power to do if you won't provide details).
It needs to be pointed out to them that we don't give a rats about them, it's the people who they pass it onto we care about!
