Excellent work by the NSW Police Force. About time these wretches got what was coming to them.
A protester arrested at the rally has ripped up the $1000 fine, saying he'll "take it all the way to the Supreme Court".
Except that the Supreme Court doesn't hear such matters. Appealing an infringement notice is in the Local Court and the magistrate will most likely throw the appeal out, forcing the defendant to pay court costs in addition to the original fine.

The madness continues. Today, two twits were each fined $4,000 in QLD after taking themselves on an interstate junket to Melbourne after they were found to have lied on their border passes. They are under further investigation on an allegation of shoplifting upmarket handbags. With regard to the latter, they may well be returning to Melbourne soon by way of extradition should the theft allegations lead to charges being laid. Both these idiots caught the coronavirus whilst in Melbourne.
UPDATE: Fraud charges have been laid against these women for lying on their border passes and face a maximum penalty of five years in gaol and/or a $13,345.00 fine if found guilty.
On another note, Chairman Dan has politely asked protestors not to attend a 'virus deniers rally' at Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance. Give us a break Andrews - don't ask - tell them to stay home. Tell them. Apart from it being completely obscene to conduct a demonstration near a war memorial, stage three restrictions are in place. If you cannot enforce your laws, why are you the Premier of Victoria?
All this on a day which saw 723 new coronavirus cases added to the list.

Yep, 2 got caught here in Albury. They were from Melbourne or had been to Melbourne ,Then into Sydney . They spent the day in Albury at cafes etc etc , apparently.
Both test positive.
It really needs to be strict rules that are followed through if we are going to try and contain the virus.

Telling doesn't work with morons. I say let them attend and then arrest every one of them, with bail denied. The prospect of a couple of days and nights in a lock up might send a signal to would-be copy cat morons.

Andrews has no Balls!
That's why Vic is in a mess.
Just look at the China deal ,Even when the prime minister said it's not in our nation's interest ! he still tried to Run his own race in Victoria and be difient against the wishes of the federal government and the other states.
He's the biggest problem Victoria has!

Because I had a lingering dry cough after the cold I had the other week, I had to have another coronavirus test. I was fortunate to be able to have the test at a time when it would not disrupt what I am doing at work at the moment. Following the test, isolation is compulsory though because I was classed as a healthcare worker I got the result super quick again - negative, though I pretty much knew that, as the antibiotics I bought around the same time had started to kick in following the test.

Going to get a lot sicker , Because thousands of cars crossed the border. Some go back and forth others went back to Sydney etc.
So with them the bug will keep moving.
Other issues too ,Eg I have a doctor's appointment, but there are no Doctors this side of the border who deal with this issue so once a month the doctors come from Melbourne to see the patients Here on this side of the border.
So as we move about so does the virus I imagine.

Well, here it is folks. If you want to walk through life, doing as you please, thinking that the police cannot punish you for any transgressions, all you need do is declare yourself a sovereign citizen.

One cannot make this stuff up. It is hard to believe people are trying this BS on, thinking they can just walk away from swift justice.

My guess is that most of them couldn't spell sovereign.

Dare we hope for a swift and thorough application of Darwinian principles?

Pete I do Ride my bicycle to work 4 nights a week. I'm lucky I can do that and its easy to socially distance on the bike and at work its only me for 11 hours out of twelve. But on my breaks I just love to work on these old sets. I also put time into planning what other parts I can supply in my ebay. It keeps me busy.
I just dont get how people need to put their lives and others at risk all because they are inconvenienced.
