Hmmm The best part of these is the Knobs through the Glass. I have a few sets of these knobs and ive hung onto them for years in case I ever buy a HMV, because they break. Not a bad set ! But its down there where the Germs are ! That will sell that set. $ 300 is a bit of a Bite ,but times have moved on and the sets are bringing more money these days ...All the early HMV Sets I can remember seeing were nitrocellulose. Then in the early 60s they starting using an early type of Poly which cant be repaired only a complete re-do... But that one will be nitrocellulose I would say as its 58

My grandparents had that HMV TV. Because grandpa was pretty deaf, there was a loop of wire wound under his rocking chair and connected to the TV which induced sound in his hearing aid when he switched it from mic to loop. That HMV was still in use in the 1970s.

The plastic in the the centre of one of my brass rings has broken on the on/off knob of my F3

So if you have a spare you are willing to part with I would be more than happy to pay you for it

GTC I'm sure that a hearing aid was available as an accessory for these HMV TV's

I would buy that one ,But I dont want to go anywhere or be with people while this virus is exploding,Plus I'm building a shed in the yard soon and pouring all my money into timber etc etc , getting ready to start on it next month .. I need a shed to work from,All my spray gear is in the basement and its just too difficult without a shed, even though I have lots storage here, I also have lots of stuff !! I can only really spray in the warmer months here because the temperature is just way too cold I could do 2k and heat a room ,But no nitro ,,, not possible
