I am jealous (despite it being a capital sin) and that radio would complete just about any collection though wouldn't it be great for the even rarer opportunity to have that and the table version...

It has reverse dial like German radios.

This wasn't common here but some radios did have these dials. I remember seeing a few with the early 1930s 0-100 markings and some of these were numbered backwards. I guess it just depended on how the engineers wanted the tuning gang mounted, leaving the marketing department and salesmen to try and explain away an issue that would have been easy to overcome.
