Id wanted - unit is a 1935 console chassis, Australian made it seems.

Dial has two chevroned (or winged) circles, one on top of the other, and reversed from each other - kind of like the following:

O=
=O

except the chevrons have 5 bars or so.

Yes, I should post a picture, but text is quicker and someone may recognise easily.
Thanks!

Ones on the Great Pyramid are the other way up. That type is no good near electricity that sparks.

We need picture.

Can anyone help identify the manufacturer from the photo shown?
Thanks

Here are a few red herrings.
as soon as I looked at the photo and saw the mirror image logos around the centre of the dial 2 things popped into my mind.

1/ Austin A30 radiator mascot badge.
2/ Air chief radio. (or was it Indian motorcycle?)

Funny how images are filed away in your mind.
Both of those sources have nothing to do with this radio.
I think its the "go faster" horizontal lines that are the link to those mind images.

So now I am back to guessing and of no use Maslim, sorry!
Fred.

That may be the logo of the manufacturer of the dial. I can't say I've ever come across it.

Let us know the valve line-up.

The logo doesn't lead me anywhere but the dial shape looks like some from Howard. A photo of the back of the receiver chassis may help with ID, plus the valve line up, if known.
