I know this is very early notice but I have been in contact with a Genuine fellow from Dubbo trying to help with a deceased estate. The number of items he has mentioned that have raised my eyebrows ( interest ) is quite good. he has at least 4 valve testers and boxes ( Robbert ) of Valves ( 20x NOS eye Tubes ) stacks of military grade rectifiers. Console radios ( which I have advised him not to bring unless I have found customers for). I have asked him to send pictures to me which I will endeavour to list here.
the Goulburn meet is always big and I suggest you guys get down to it.
Watch This space regards carl.

Valves - yes please. I'm not a member of HRSA, does that make a difference?

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Thanks, I'll take all the valves, if the price is reasonable.

Should try for the knobs and the bases too.

Robbert I will grab some of them. Bear in mind he is either going to drive them down to Goulburn himself or post /courier them to me so that adds a bit of a premium to them. There are a lot Of N.O.S eyetubes as well which I have advised him to seperate from the rest. We will work something out. I have forgotten your email and phone number if you could pass them on to me.
Oh and this is just the tip of the iceberg. He mentioned he had a 8x 16 metre shed to clear . If any of you want to email me I can arrange for him to deal with you on the valve testers. He is happy to mail the items to you so if any interest please email me and exchange phone numbers.

If he lives somewhere between Sydney and Goulburn then it might be easier if I simply went there, that would save postage costs.

I'll send you an email now.

I'd never say no to valves or testers.

This looks like its going to be a success. I have had a few people contact me and everyone at this stage will get something.
The way I am approaching this is like this." Its a deceased estate" nothing will be dirt cheap and nothing will be overly expensive. Its only fair that the family gets a reasonable return.
There are more items to be photographed as well.

Carl.

Just a update on this. I have managed to secure a nice Astor Mickey for myself and the valves will be in my possession shortly. I will be sorting and cataloguing my current lot of valves this weekend and when the other lot arrive I will catalogue those as well and then start putting together the ones I will be selling on.
He does have some other radios to pass on so if you email me ( mines unhidden ) I can pass pictures onto you.

Over the last couple of nights I have started cataloguing my current stash of valves and discovered I had 5 x 6F6s and 11 x 6M5s ( half of them NOS) what a bonus! . I am expecting 2x tea chests full of valves very shortly of which I will catalogue as well.
Robbert I already have a medium sized box of valves for you out of my current stash so you can expect more.

What is a 6LF2x valve anyway? Looked at http://frank.yueksel.org/sheets65.html but nothing.

Oops, that's 6FL2, found it http://frank.yueksel.org/sheets/084/e/ECF812.pdf

Triode and beam tetrode.

Robbert I don't know if you have see the photos I have sent to your phone but I have two boxes of valves for you. The valves from Dubbo are not here yet as he has been struck with COVID but I suspect they will be here next week.

Carl what do you want me to do? Should I wait for the valves from Dubbo, or should I visit you, or should I go to Goulburn? What's the plan?

My phone is very old, so I couldn't see what was in the photo which was half the size of a postage stamp. So today I hooked it up to a XP computer and viewed the photo on that. I could see one or two boxes with valves.
