Robbert I'm thinking with my work commitments that when the valves arrive I won't have time to go through them before the meeting. I'm suggesting you pay a visit to Goulburn and pick the boxes up ( freebies) . I'm currently working 60 hour weeks and the one weekend I have off before the meeting will see me driving upto Newcastle and back so won't have much time.

I'll see you at Goulburn then, if you could tell me where the meeting is to be held.

Well the large amount of valves arrived today. A carton full of NOS Vi 103 eyetubes was in it. These sub for 6G5G, Y63 as well. Only one of them had seen the light of day since 1935. The others were sealed like the day they left the factory.

Believe me these are a sight to see.

An old Tech has told me that this valve is electrically identical to The Hard to find 6U5 . All thats needed is a socket change.

Got back from the meeting a short while ago with boxes of valves on the back seat.

Carl had a table set up with various items. Most of the items for auction were sold, and a few were passed in.

There was an interview yesterday on 2ST 102.9 with the bloke that runs this auction.

It might be possible for you to get a transcript from the radio station if you want to ask them.
