I have had this dial escutcheon lying around the place for ages.

I was wondering whether any one can identify what make of radio this was from.

From what I can remember, the valve layout was 6A8G, 6U7G, 6B6G, 6F6G, and 5Y3GT.

Thanks.

Unknown Tuning Dial

Lots of makes and model match that valve lineup.

Is that dial from a console? If so I have line-up matches on various dual wave models from 1938 to 1941 for:

Airzone
Aristocrat
Gulbransen
Peal
Philco

It's fairly distinctive dial. I guess somebody will recognise it.

Hi GTC,

I think that it was from a console.

It came with a chassis and speaker that I got years ago.

The chassis has long since gone and all I have left is this dial.

Hi folks,

From this thread: https://vintage-radio.com.au/default.asp?f=2&th=63

It looks like this chassis may have been manufactured by Eclipse Radio, possibly a Croyden EJS series.

I found the power transformer. It has the part number PT 177.

I remember the chassis and speaker was painted a light metallic blue colour.
