I am pleased to announce that as of tonight (22nd June, 2013) the password retrieval service is once again operational. I have completely re-designed this system to make it more secure and so that it allows complete integration with recent anti-spam upgrades on the mail server.

For this service to work correctly you need to:-

1. remember the spelling of your username, and;
2. remember the e-mail address that is currently stored on your member profile, and;
3. still be using that e-mail address, and;
4. set your e-mail provider's spam settings to accept e-mail from services@vintage-radio.com.au.

Members have an obligation to keep their account details and settings up to date so that convenient functions like password retrieval work when needed. If the e-mail address you registered with is no longer used then automated retrieval requests will disappear into cyberspace and human intervention is also unlikely to be successful as there will be no other way to identify the true accountholder.

If you are using a different e-mail address to the one you originally registered with, updating this setting ASAP is recommended.
