This model radio is the holy grail of collectors items. No other radio around the world could be considered more collectable than a 1930's AWA Empire State Radiolette. They are not only much sought after by collectors in Australia but also in the United States, Canada and Great Britain. Even a walnut coloured Radiolette will attract a price of more than $1,000 with dozens of eager buyers. Other colours attract a king's ransom, particularly a jade green example. A two year old car is now cheaper to obtain.
