Hi, would I be able to get some help identifying this awa TV.
I'm also after a service manual or circuit. See attached pictures below.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there.

It is a Model 206 C.

This was the first 21" telly made by AWA from around 1956/7.

I do have a service manual for this set. Click on to my profile and you'll find my email address

Cheers.

AWA used to put a set similar to that - with doors - on stands and supply them to schools. I'll always remember the one we had which was shared between classrooms.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Thanks for all the info so far.

Would anybody know if you can replace a 6DQ6-A valve with a 6DQ6-B in this model AWA TV.

Kind Regards, Rory.

A 6DQ6-B should be fine. It is an up-rated version of the 6DQ6-A and has slightly different physical dimensions. The 6DQ6-B is a fave amongst Goldentone guitar amp enthusiasts.
