Hi all,
Is there anyone here in Sydney who can help me restore these two sets? Both are in great condition and switch on well. Am happy to try doing it myself if someone could email me the schematics, otherwise, if you're in Sydney & able to help, please Pm me or reply here.
Thanks,
Nick.

Hi Monochrome,
Thanks for your reply.
The Healing is a model 370.
I have to open the Radiola to find the model number, as there is no info on the back, all faded away.
Cheers,
Nick.

I have a circuit diagram for the Healing 370 + most early AWA TV service manuals. I am unable to help you restore your sets but you are most welcome to the circuit diagrams. If you are unable to identify the AWA, take a photo of it and get Brad to upload it here.
Cheers.

Hi Monochrome,
Thanks it would be a great help to get a circuit diagram for the Healing 370. I'll PM you soon.
As for the AWA, I'll email Brad some pics tonight.
Thanks again!
Nick.

Hi Monochrome,
Sorry I've been out of touch - have been working back late these last few days. How can I get in contact with you about the Healing schematics?
As for the picture of the Radiola, I can't get a decent shot of it at the moment as it's cramped inside my garage. But I did a bit of searching and this is what mine looks like, in near same condition:

Cheers,
Nick.

It is a AWA 201T. And yes, I have the full service manual + amendments, about 28 pages. The file is too large to send via email but I can post it to you on a disc. I am presently restoring a AWA 202C, which is the console version of the 201T. I've got mine going but are having issues with it that need ironing out. If you unhide your email I'll send you the Healing 370 circuit & we can work out getting to you the AWA manual.
Cheers.

It is a AWA 201T.
That brings back memories. That model must have been a very big seller as I seem to recall it being everywhere.

The AWA 201T has a 17" screen and the 204T, which is its big brother, is a 21". Both have the same chassis except the 204T has a beefier power supply and uses 2 5AS4 rectifiers instead of just one. Both TV's were the first 17" & 21" models sold by AWA when television started here.

OK, I see pict of '57 Healing on 1st link so don't need to join Flickr to see 2nd link.
Was curious to see a very early Healing
We had 23" Healing 'Colourado' c.1963 from Waltons store whose credit enslavement was similar to HG Palmer.
Heard something somewhere that some Healing models were a based on US Sylvania like this 60s set with narrow oval speaker (of US origin) mounted in (imported?) cosmetic plastic escutcheon.
Vertical chassis had "Fringe/Loc" control: suspiciously American terminology?
