Hello all.
I am after one or two “rotary U.H.F. tuners.”
Not important if it has seized up, (they had all seized by 1980).
Not important If the aerial input is 300 ohm, or 75 ohm with an R.C.A. socket.

This type of tuner was very common in colour TV's before remote control sets killed them off.

Can probably collect if you are in Sydney.

Thanks in advance.

Wayne.

Hello Labrat,

Have you found any tuners yet?

I have two UHF rotary tuners. One may have a S/C as it loads down its supply voltage considerably. The other seems operational, at least its oscillator is running.

I have been conducting experiments with both. Did not alter or fiddle with interior components but I did put silicon blobs on exterior metalwork.

I have finished with them and you can have them. Don't want anything for them, happy to post them to you.
