Hello all.

Can anyone help me identify this Kriesler TV model number for me.
It is a console, using a 79-4 chassis.

I'm thinking 121-31 or 121-31T of 1961.

Update: I overlooked 'Powermatic' so possibly 121-32.

Pity about the air in the CRT. It's a 23" 110 degree.

Thanks GTC. It matches the description of the 121-32 on Radiomuseum.org. Original tube is AW59-90. No chance of anyone having a replacement I suppose.

That tube is a 23" 110 degree "naked" CRT. No bonded faceplate, no rimband.

There's a fairly large range of tubes that could be fitted to that TV, including later bonded and rimband tubes if necessary. It would even take a 24 inch tube. You can't afford to be too picky.

I have a 21" 110 degree tube that, if you changed the mask, would fit. But that would not match the model and it's only about 20% emission.

The 79-4 is a great chassis, one of my favourites from that period.

Thanks Ian. I do actually have a AW53-88 CRT myself, which would fit with modifications and a change in mask. Both the CRT and mask came from an HMV M1 chassis set. A project for the future maybe?

Update on the model. Its actually a 121-33. Picture recently uploaded to Radiomuseum.org.
