Yes Folks. It was forty-three years ago today, that colour T .V. began regular transmissions in Australia.

What is also amazing is how quickly the T.V. stations stopped airing anything produced in B &W.
That is until people started to colourise old movies because the U.S. Pantent Office deemed them to be new works.

But that is a subject for another posting.

Yes, remember TEN 10's slogan "First in colour!"?

They were too, they accidentally-on-purpose threw the switch during the cartoons in the afternoon!
