Hello Sue,,,,Thanks for your reply, I have lots of vintage TV's,,But I wearing L plates when it comes to electronics ,But I get a lot of good help here with people teaching me enough to always take the next step and learn some more...That booster cap is a .022μF !000volt ,,but it maybe ok still ,,, As I'm still fault finding,,,,So if you do have a cap,Hang to it until know morel

I've found my old .022 1000V booster, but it's a Ducon papercap, and it wouldn't be reliable. If yours is a UCC Di-Pol, they are usually OK.
