I have recently restored a Pye Pedigree T21-K model television. All is working really well, except that I have two dark corners at the left and right top of the screen. Have never seen this happen before on a TV, so was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where I might start looking to resolve this problem. The picture appears to be straight, so assume it's not a deflection coil rotation problem. The 'missing' part of the picture is only around 1cm wide and diagonally across each upper corner.

Possibly the scan coil assembly (the yoke) isn't pushed all the way in.

Thanks, had thought about that, also perhaps the centring magnets? Will have a look tonight.
