Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone might have any original (or nice .pdf scans) for the PHILIPS "TB810" b+W TV???
I recently acquired some over the weekend, but can't seem to find anything on google in my searching, although variations such as "12TB8xx" were amongst the results, but not the "810" model.
The model sticker on the rear of the TV clearly says "TB810", so i'm puzzled why there's basically nothing I could find online?
Thanx in advance,
Marty.

I'll organise a pdf of the TB810 manual for you. Give me a couple of days.
I'm not surprised that you couldn't find anything online about it. As far as I'm aware it's an Australian market only model based on a Sharp chassis. There is very little online for Australian TV's so your lucky that there are forums like this!

If it is the model that I think it is, it will almost certainly have a faulty line output transformer.
I shall look on the weekend for my faults sheet for this model.
I keep a schematic for each model and write on it any faults encountered.
Wayne.

Dear Old Marty.
I was not able to find a Fault Sheet for this model amongst my service data.
I must have been using service data belonging to the company that I was working for at the time.
I would be interested to have an up-date as to how the restoration of the little set.
Wayne.

Thanx TVC (again) for your efforts....
Wayne, I have 7 of the TB810s in my humble collection, 4 work perfectly, 2 need work but were bought as 'parts donors' for the main 4, and the 7th hasn't been checked yet, so i'm on good standing at the moment
Marty.
