I have a few HMV F5 LOPTX's that I scored from one of my previous employers when they were cleaning up & throwing out stuff that I have had for years & kept in storage.

How did that set end being in the UK in the first place?

They are worth keeping too! When I found an ebay seller with one of these TVs in bits to sell I bought it and just had the parts sent over , the deflection yoke was what I needed but I also got a spare LOPT. But I didnt think to get the any of the 3 vertical transformers , and now am a little woried some intermittent vertical flickering may mean one of these needs replacing.
I live in the UK now and had my stuff shiped form Australia. My HMV F5 is my pride and joy along with my KRIESLER 11-1-2 radiogram and takes pride of place in my living room.
