Caps needed for 50 year old or 60 year old Tvs

Nathan, you need to write what caps you are requiring (eg. 2x 2.2μF 450v axial). Also, it would be helpful if you could include the brand/model numbers of the televisions in question, so that if a certain model has a known issue, other collectors can warn you about it or help you fix it. Chris

Ahhhh. If it has Nipper (the dog) there then it is definitely a HMV. I paid more attention to the boomerang shape at the bottom of the badge which does look a bit Kriesler-ish. If you can give me the brand and model of each set I can adjust the names of the images accordingly. The astor is definetely a Royal 23 inch, and the HMV Trent is the big TV in the second image, and the third TV is a HMV too, do not know what model, and can someone send me service data? I can supply you service info for all the TV's but we need to establish what models they are first! Fortunately this is fairly easy on Astor and HMV TV's even if the back is missing. The Astor's model number will be printed in black or blue ink on the rear side of the chassis. It will probably start with R31...followed by more number and letters. Have a look and see what you can see. The HMV TV's normally have the model and serial numbers in either the top right corner or bottom right corner of the chassis (depending on what chassis it is). It is always in the form xx-yy, where xx is the chassis type and yy is the case style. The HMV Trent is a model I haven't seen before. Can you take a better quality picture of it? I'd like to add it to a TV model guide I'm creating if you are happy to provide a image and the full model number.

That is why I explained how to find out the model numbers! Take a look, I can't help you unless you give me some information to work with.
