Whilst I love most old radios,gramophones etc i`ve always been a bigger fan of Ferris radios.Last year I decided to begin a collection.Not a complete one but rather ones that I like over others.Along the way a couple of other brands would crop up as seen by the Astor KQ (top left) but I will limit the collection to mainly Ferris.So here below:

I also have one of those Ferris Picnic portables as seen in your pic ... second from right ..with red and white push buttons . Mine still works fine . I have the cradle too . You can set it up for 6 or 12V and either POS or NEG ground

Hi Mike.Yep, two of. 274 & 274MkII.Great sounding units & like some others has facility to plug in a Cassette unit.At the moment I only have one radio with its cradle but will in time sort out the others. cheers gordon

Hi there tinradio if you are interested in more car radios let me know as I have a guy in toowoomba qld who I bought some TVs off and he has collected radios for over 30yrs and is now selling them Smile lots of transistor and car radios inc ferris and old valve car radios he has over 300 Smile
