Guys I have created a very sociable little group called "The Real Bakelite and Antique Radio Page " it will never compete with this site and nor do I want it to. I would welcome any of you to join. It is a closed group so as to avoid any undesirables to join and also so members can be comfortable in showing off their collection. I promote it as having no tolerance for BS or sledging . Any of you guys are welcome.

I signed up for Facebook a week or so ago, but they didn't like my name "Watwoise" (I use my ham callsign for everything on the 'net). For identity theft issues I don't want to supply my real name and birthday to a web site. I've gotten by just fine without Facebook... I am on Linkedin, though. Maybe an antique radio group there?

Me too. Just call yourself Sir John Ambrose Fleming or something like that, at least he's related to vintage radio. Smile
