      What an amazing resource!!
Is there any chance of also including Neville William's "When I Think Back" articles from EA?

Awesome. I wonder if Silicon Chip would ever consider doing a DVD of EA, like they have done with Radio & Hobbies

Scanning RT&H to DVD was a private undertaking done with Leo Simpson's approval, after declaring the guy (whose name escapes me) to be crazy to be taking on such a task.

The page is more about valves and projects involving them. The "When I Think Back" is more about general recollections of the era, so it won't be included, at least for now. It could possibly get revisited in the future though.

Robbert, don't leave it too long as some of us maybe do not have that long left. Its nice to go back to those times and remember. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾

Fantastic. Quite the walk down memory lane. I bought my first copy of EA in February 1966 (half a century next month - yikes!) and managed to amass a large collection of older RTV&H and R&H issues (all long lost alas).
Many thanks for posting the link - it's been bookmarked.

 Rob

"When I Think Back" is now online at the above page. Some articles are not the best quality and I'm hoping to scan better copies over time. These will have a later date listed.

 Enjoy!

I've just been informed by the server owner that the hosting server will be turned off in a day or two. This means the permanent end of my site.
Unless someone can offer me free hosting and at least 10GB of space, that will be the end of that.

Do yourself a favour and double check that you have backed up all site files.
There's a few free site mobs left. Not sure if they offer no ads and 10GB but worth checking. Wix is one that advertises on Youtube and they do offer their service to small businesses.

Having that much content hosted free of charge was a good deal.
What was in it for the server owner?

It doesn't happen a lot these days but back 10, or 15 years, a few people would band together and throw in a few bob each year for a mate to host a server on their behalf. There were quite a few that I knew of and I used to allow space on my server for small sites owned by those I knew.
I don't offer it these days because the constant setting up and deleting of accounts just takes too much time.

 Nothing.

I've received a couple of possible offers of web space... we'll see if they work out.
