I think thats a Japanese Mitsubishi chassis in that model. AWA eventually went away from the very unreliable 4KA chassis in the late 70s but by then their reputation was shot. I used to repair the 4KA series back then. They were a servicemans nightmare and did your reputation no good as they just kept failing despite all diligence. The later Japanese chassis was very reliable apart from the odd edge connector problems. |
