Hello,I have just purchased my first valve radio an awa radiola 539ma.It picks up many stations but has lots of background noise and no response to tone control.Ihave searched for a schematic with no luck. Can anyone help me?
I have been restoring pre 1978 pinball machines for many years and the radio matches well with these.I have found the pinball forums very good and have seen lots of good imformation here on vintage radio.
Cheers Ian

Welcome to the forum.

If you unhide your email address in your member profile, I'll send you the 539MA schematic and notes.

I suggest further discussion on the project would be better placed in the Tech Talk section, with AWA 539MA in the topic line. That will help future readers, too.
