Hi all,

I've been around for a while and gained my amateur licence when 17, cut my teeth on the old No.19 set etc then dropped my amateur licence but have retained an interest in old valve radios for the last few decades. But I haven't been active in thsi area ... work, kids etc took precedence.

I'm looking to play around a bit with a couple of valve radios I have, and string up a long wire attenna out of the window for a bit of shortwave etc.

I'm interested in maybe learning a bit from you more experienced guys and especially to get more information about one of my two radios ... I will post a photo or two in the appropriate forum.

Talk later,
Gordon
