Hi all, thought I’d introduce myself. My name is Adam and I live in Queensland, I have always had a interest
in all thing vintage especially radios, my collection is not a big collection so here is a quick rundown, I have 2
from the 1940's
One is a HMV model number 668, the other is a Radio master witch has H.B. Radio Products stamped on it

i also have a national Panasonic transistor radio from the 60's I think and 2 more from the 70's a Sony
Trans-world and a Philips Philadelphia , and a 2in1 radio and record player that was my mothers when she
was a teenager, mum is now 72 years young, it's not in the best of nick electrically speaking as my uncle got hold of it and did some rewiring of his own.

I also have a Precedent Three in one radiogram from the 60's that needs work and to finish off the collection
i also have 4 reel to reels and and 4 record players

The HMV is currently under restoration or should I say rebuild as I have owned this for the past 20years and finally in a position to do some thing with it. I will start a thread about this restoration in the tech talk section.

Thanks Adman

P.S I also have 3 old telephones, 1 from the forties, I think and 2 from the 70's and a bench top radio from the 50's

Thanks again Adman

G'day Adman,

Welcome to the forums. Looks like you are a bit of an all-rounder with the collection you have.

Although I tend to go for radios I also have a few other things, my two oldest telephones, which are still in service, can be seen here. I have three of the 1970's coloured PMG phones, one by AWA and the other two by STC, though all these need restoring due to having hard lives.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...
