My name is John Roberts, I live in New Zealand & have a passion for old radios. My wife's aunt gave me a Radiolette & I would like to restore it. I looked at the AORSM on the et & I think it's a model 52G. The model number is scratched off the chassis.
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for sale please?

G'day John,

If your radio is a 52G, the valve lineup is; 6A8G, 6U7G, 6G8G, 6F6G and 5Y3G.

I can email a copy of the circuit if you can give me your address.

Cheers, Graham...

Hello Graham, the valve lineup is exactly that. There appear to be three(!) IF transformers & no audio amplification stage - makes sense?

My email is Pentagrid.paradise.net.nz.

I am also very grateful for your time & efforts. I feel I owe quite a bit to Australia - my vintage radio knowledge comes mostley from R&H, R,TV & H & EA. Basically I have taught myself from these mags - they really are well-written & make for good instructionSmile
John.

Err.... just to clarify.... I meant three IF transformers then the power O/P stage - no audio Pre-amp.

Yours, embarrassed :|

G'day John,

Circuit has been emailed to you. Hope that its readable by the time it gets to you.

The detected audio from the 6G8G is fed back to the grid for further amplification before passing onto the 6F6G. an old technique known as reflexing. Hence the apparent lack of an extra audio stage.

Cheers, Graham...
