Just bought a Breville 89 model radio. It's in a timber cabinet, and has a AWA fisk radiola badge on the front. A bit confused about the badging. It's in fairly poor condition at the moment, and I am hoping to find circuit diagrams. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Stand by for stupid questions.

Regards

Terry

G'day Terry,

If you have photos of the receiver in its current state it may help with answering some of the questions you'll have. You can e-mail them to the address on my profile page and I will be happy to include them in your post.

I can't help with the cabinet issue, but I have emailed you what schematics I have on the Breville 89.

Hope that's what you're after.

And as they say, the only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask before diving in.

G'day Terry,

Could we have some more details on this radio? My information on the Breville 89 is that it is a vibrator powered model with a 2volt valve lineup.

The model 89 and 89A are table models and the 89C is in a console cabinet.

You may have a bitzer. Quite often we come across a cabinet with a different brand of radio inside.

Cheers, Graham...
