Hiya.
Im new to Vintage Radio, but had a bit of an interest in Radios for years.you know the old story...dad got me a Crystal Radio when I was about 8 or so and the "magic" of lying in bed at night, falling asleep with the little crystal earphone in my ear never really wore off.

I had the almost compulsory CB in my early teens, long before I ahd a car, dad set me up a little "base station" in my wardrobe.

Then I got my HAM licence and my intest continued.

And a while back I saw a really intesting looking old radio on eBay, so I bought it with the intention of restoring it. Life has got in the way a little bit over the last couple of years, but I still have the radio and the intention. Now I am starting to do a bit of research to find out what I have actually got, as I'm not really too sure.

Whatever it is, I know it is way above my skills to restore at the moment, but with a bit of research and perserverance, I'm sure it will be achievable.

Anyway, thats me I guess. I will post more about the radio in another thread, maybe someone knows what I have got waiting for me.

Cheers.

Sandman
