Hello. I spent the first half of my recently retired-from working life as an electronics technician. Started the Tasmanian apprenticeship "Radio Mechanic" in Smithton the year after colour TV was turned on. I was transferred to Burnie because of my employers financial difficulty - everybody bought a new TV, so TV service dried up. Burnie was an industrial town so I had opportunity to work on radio comms, industrial control, digital logic, mostly pin-ball & game consoles, then Commodore & Atari computer service. Then moved to broadcast FM radio & managed the construction & maintenance of 7DBS-FM, Wynyard.
