Hello, I am Russell. I recently retrieved my first ever tranny (was second hand) from my 'I'll get to it someday' bin. Sold by HG Palmer, no brand name on the outside, but has 'KGH TP 100 Pat # 145360 on the circuit board & VCZ33 on the speaker, has a 'leather' covering, measures 17cm long by 11 cm high by 6 cm deep, tuning knob on the Right hand face & on/off/volume knob on the Left side. It 'scratches' when I connect the battery, where do I go to begin diagnosis please, I have a moderate knowledge of reading resistance, voltage, etc on a multi-meter. Any advice will be much appreciated. Cheers.

Please don't double post. It leads to split responses and confusion.

I have responded to your similar post in Tech Talk.
