After a long hiatus from the site, I was looking through some old posts that I'd saved and decided to re-join.

Since I was here last, I even built a 'vintage' radio from scratch using Soviet rod pentodes. If I couldn't find something of interest to work on, I designed something.

It's not as though I ever gave up on vintage radio though, my home remains adorned with various pieces, and my partner recently indicated that I should 'get on' with the STC console in the hallway. And the Hotpoint in the shed. And and...

So, here I am. Good to be back!

Hi Jon!
The scratch radio sounds like a good one for the special projects.
I cannot be the only person using this site actually making scratch build stuff and documenting.

Please somebody make something and put it up!

Fred.
