I have retored a JEEP radio made in Australia in 1944 by Tasma. It can run on 110 volts AC, 240 volts AC or 6 volts DC (the battery voltage of WWII Jeep vehicles). It's only a receiver with AM & SW bands, so I guess it was used to entertain troups during the war. I would really like to know more about this radio and would be interested if anyone has ever seen one previously.

I have email Brad the photos, so hopefully they should appear here, thanks

G'day NVS41,

Welcome to the forums. My mail server has some problems which I hope to fix tonight so if your e-mail bounces just try sending it again in a day or two. I will then publish them here for others to see.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...
