Hi all,
Just got my first antiques over the weekend, an Apollo phonograph and an HMV radiogram.
The Apollo is in pretty good condition and works, the cabinet on the HMV needs a lot of work and I haven't tried to see if it works yet/ Will do a few electrical checks before plugging it in...

Right, the Apollo needs the moving horn section replateing, looks like silver but I'm sure it isn't. What should I do here?
Also the rubber that support diaphragm where the hammer (?) rests is all perished, I would think its meant to be between some form of flexible gasket???

Would appreciate any info on this unit, should I restore the cabinet or leave as it is , its not too bad at all trally.
Apollo Type No106W

Many thanks for your thought. Will post a few pic's of the HMV at some stage to get advise on the cabinet restro.
