G'day folks, I'm Matt, a new member from Point Cook, VIC. I've long-held a love and admiration of mantle and console radios ever since I stumbled across the original Resurrection Radios shop in Windsor, around 25 years ago. I know nothing of radio chassis, electronics or valves. My pleasure comes from restoring cabinets, especially the time-consuming polishing and buffing. I'm looking forward to chatting and learning from folks on here!

Best regards,

Matt Morgan

Hello from Jimb.

I have just joined your forum, I am not new to the hobby , have been involved with old radios for since I was 12 some 57 years, off and on my background is industrial electronics , broadcast television , and commercial electronics. I run hot and cold loose interest and come back to it. The reason I joined is I am desperate for some help with a friends Stromberg Carlson 68.

I am sure a good number of you have far more experience with nasty faults. I will post in the appropriate section shortly.

Thank you.

Kind Regards. Jimb
