I have joined this forum today after having searched the net for some information on a particular vintage radio (Grice Model 555) made by Tasmar therefore after reading many of the forum post on other subjects I feel I would have a lot to gain from such an interesting site.
I have been retired for nine years after spending close to 40 years self-employed in the radio TV and communications sales and service industry on the Darling Downs in Queensland. Radio is one of my hobbies besides model engine engineering as well as CNC Wood Crafting.
Thank you for allowing me to join your group and maybe I will be able to help someone somewhere in the future.

Welcome Radioteb.
Perhaps you could tell us about your Grice radio, does it need repair, what valves does it have, and maybe some photos of it?

Unless it's a farm radio, I'm going to take a small punt on it being AC/DC with a barretter.

Not sure if I am supposed to continue discussion about the Grice radio on this thread, someone will soon tell me I suspect if it is not the correct procedure.
The model number is not clear it could be 555 or 595 it is a 6 V vibrator with a tube line up of 6D8G, 6S7G, 6T7G and 6C6G. I have not seen one of these in any other collection that I have personally come across. There are similar radios with the badge of Tasma.

That line-up and 6 volt vibrator supply accords with a Tasma 595.
I've emailed you the schematic.

Thank you for the circuit GTC I have received it nice and clear it looks like an interesting radio, I'm not sure if it is a rare radio or not.

You're welcome.
I have not encountered the Grice brand, but then I'm not from QLD. I don't think you'll find too many of that model still around.

RHS under Roberts Health Services is advertising radios also at the bottom of the column to the left, they are Tasma so may be they had some specials made under the Grice name as cheapies etc.
