Hi Guys,
I joined this site a few years ago but time constraints meant I didn’t get too far with my ‘planned’ restorations. I now have bitten the bullet and got back into it.
My first project is a Healing 417A. This is a 1937 battery powered cabinet radio. I will start a separate thread on this as I ‘m sure I will need some help......

Trevor

Good to see you made it back on Trevor. Your post has made me ponder on a restoration I began last year with a view to having it finished by now. If it is sunny tomorrow I am off to the mountains to go on a hike. If it is raining then I will be heading for my storage lockup to work on that restoration. Smile

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

Do you have power in your storage unit?

I have a double GPO in the unit but it runs a fan and extra lighting as I have a mezzanine level in there constructed out of 40mm chipboard laid on top of my Brownbuilt steel shelving and that blocks the flouro light that is also part of the lockup.

To stop me tripping breakers there I use a 12v battery and a sinewave inverter for running radios.

Thanks Guys.
Brad, my knees ensure bike riding is a distant memory but I can still crawl in and out of my MGA Mk1. A fine day is a rewarded with a open air drive around the Ranges - invigorating!!!
