Hi, my name is Dale. I'm now in my mid 50s, and first started tinkering with old radios in my early teens. It started with me pulling apart the radio in my father's shed that had stopped working.

I've been involved in electronics all my working life, but modern stuff lacks any kind of soul.

I have a collection of around 40 radios, mostly mantle types, but also 2 radio-grams and 4 of the larger console types.
I look forward to some contact with other collectors.

Regards.. Dale

Welcome to the site.

40 radios is a sizeable collection.

I started by pulling apart the family Airzone 5A1A2 when it finally died. (see my avatar).

I now have two of them. One a goer, the other on my very long project list.
