Please let me introduce myself.

My name is Frank & I live in Olympia, in the state of Washington, USA. (The Washington on the West coast, (Not the State of Confusion on the East coast).

I have been a member of the Antique Radio Forums, the UK antique radio site, Audio & Video Karma, and a few others for several years now.

I am currently licensed as Ham Radio operator for about 35+ years now and held a ZL call for a while while I was touring NZ. I enjoy working CW.

I have over 45 years in the electronics repair business here in the USA, covering consumer and industrial electronics. I had my own electronics contracting business for over 20 years.

Currently I am a member of the Tube Collectors Association, (TCA) and also collect tube boxes.

The antique radio collection I have contains over 100 radios ranging from crystal radios, & early battery sets to solid state; and I also have a few early B&W TV sets, as well as a round screen colour set.

My beloved was killed on the 23rd of Novenber, 2013 in a horrible accident. I miss her SO very much.
We were planning to be married next year.

G'day Frank and welcome to the Australian forums. I'm sorry to hear about your lady friend and I guess I must consider myself fortunate that I have not suffered a similar experience.

If you'd like some photos of your collection included in your post (the round screen coloured telly sounds interesting) please feel free to e-mail them to me and I will upload them to the server for you, or alternatively if you already have photos on an image hosting service like Photobucket then please feel free to link to them.
