Hi all would anyone have a spare time adjusting rod that fits the Healing or AWA clock/radios that would like to sell.
Thanks George

If an original doesn't eventuate, maybe you can get one turned up on a lathe.

Hi, if the adjusting rod is the same, have a look at my re-furbishment of 2 Admiral 5ACW clock radios in "special projects".
One had the original plastic rod. I used a piece of wood dowel from Bunnings for the other. I drilled a hole an inch deep in one end and split that end with a fine hacksaw blade and then wrapped some fuse wire around it so it would not split further when pushed over the clock spindle. The rod comes out of the back of the clock and pokes out through a hole on the back of the radio. Not original but better than nothing.
Cheers, fred.

I have one of the clocks less radio: Not sure if its complete with rods have to look, in a shed 100m away? Thin nylon rod I have as I have used it in IF cans (Model Aeroplane parts). Nylon rod engineering supplier.

Someone may be able to post a pic with dimensions?

Marc

Photo of clock sent, to Brad it's a Smiths. pull in out shaft takes a threaded rod, possibly 3/32" / 2.5mm, or US screw gauge (Haven't checked)
