I need the entire piece including the wave change switch. The radio works but we have found the coil to be open circuit. Does anyone have one spare please.

Did you have a good look to ensure that it was not an external break. Corroding off, or breaking at a post when servicing is extremely common.

Copper wire to solder bonds are notorious for this and such joints should be coated (but rarely are).

That's all been checked. But I will have a closer look later. I am still not confident enough to do this sort of stuff but will bite the bullet soon lol.
