If you're into European radios, then this Czech-based selling site, referred to me by a friend, may be of interest.

At time of posting 6,000 Koruna equates to about AU$312.

When the Berlin wall came down I went too the east and in Leipzig all the shop merchandise was from the 40s and 50s, all the old radios ,toasters and cameras were all still in the shop windows, because they had no access to modern things from the west, It was very interesting but I was not in a postion to be buying as I was just travelling, It was the same when I went further east in Budapest and Czechoslovakia all old radios cameras etc everywhere I went.

Well that was years ago when the wall came down but the eastern block is full of old things still.

I love those Sputnik watches, they are very cool.

Pete

Hi Carl,

You could use Google Translator for a basic translation. I have bought items from the eastern bloc before, no problems as yet. I mainly have bought parts there or German tools.

The translated link is

https://translate.google.com.au/translate?hl=en&sl=cs&tl...

But annoyingly, the page keeps refreshing itself, and the photos don't show.
