I work in film and I'm currently set dressing on a music video for the talented Billy Fox, if you haven't heard of him, check out his sound he's great!

I am in desperate need of a retro TV in the Sydney area! Is anyone sitting on an old broken TV? 60's/70s/80's maybe in your attic or garage somewhere? I would be so grateful! I'm happy to pickup and return the TV to you after the shoot, the TV will be returned in perfect condition! Otherwise, I can pay a hundred dollars to take it off your hands - broken is fine.

If you have anything of this description or know someone who does, let me know.
Thankyou in advance!

There are some tellys in a stall at the Mitchell Rd Antiques, Bourke Rd, Alexandria. You might be able to negotiate some arrangement to hire one of them. There are a couple of funky Pye Pedigrees there.

Hi Pete,

I'm from Melbourne but I do visit Sydney on a regular basis. I used to stay with a friend in Mitchell Rd years ago but can't remember going to any auction houses there.

Mitchell Road Antiques was (strangely) once on Mitchell Road though they moved to the current Bourke Road address a few years ago as the old place was too small.

The good news is that the shop with the tellies is still there, in the centre aisle. I took a photo of it last year.

Esther I'm in Sydney and I can help you with a 1959 21" Kriiesler in working condition. You can show video on it, I have a modulator.

I am at Belrose and my email address is not hidden.

Ian
