Hi folks,

I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm looking to find some replacement speaker cloth and 4 bakelite knobs to suit an HMV radiogram model E43D I'm restoring.

Cheers
Scott

A picture of the type of knob required would help. I can't find any good images online.

HRSA NSW has a (limited) range of speaker grille cloths.

Scott, I have used this site on Ebay and direct. Good quality and pictures are very close to the real cloth you get.

They are quite happy to talk and give information, postage was quite reasonable, I got mine sent folded and it was cheaper.

Evatco in Australia also have some cloth.

Hope this may help.

Hi Clive & GTC,

GTC - all 4 knobs are missing so I don't have a reference knob so I'm guessing any old style brown bakelite matching 4 should be fine.
Clive - Could you please add the link to the Ebay website you mentioned.

Thanks guys
Scott

Yes, possibly any brown knobs from an HMV set circa 1951 would be suitable.

I doubt that there'd be many people left who could find fault with whatever you choose.

I agree GTC, hopefully someone has 4 knobs I could get hold of.
Cheers
Scott
