There's obviously a few about. I sent one back to its owner on the 8th. It was repaired. Caps, Resistors, Speaker; Power cable; Dial light sockets & a bit of wiring..... alignment: Good performer

Looked like about its fourth repair in its life. Speaker transformer may have been replaced as the one in it was good, unusual for a Kriesler: If you had ten of them (any model or mix), two might have not have failed OP transformers.

Thanks for the info Marc, how have you been handling the rain? No flooding in the workshop I hope.

There are quite a few around that have been restored, but not many in unrepaired/unrestored condition.

My son in laws father used to have one and it was removed from his shed (by persons unknown) and he would like to have one for his home, so I thought I might restore one for him if possible.

I can send some photos of the rising damp. Lots of trouble with trees falling in wet soil. not game to send a tractor into a paddock yet. House & studio /workshop are above the known flood level. The car shed is not & the water has been through it 5 times. Driveway (600m You have driven on it) has copped a pounding & has had 4- 5" of water over it frequently. There are several Rainbow Bee eaters looking frustrated.

Thats good to hear you were not flooded in the house. Our 4m marker at the creek 200m from house was 2-3m under water, but we are up a rise, so we watched the water coming up the road. No way out for a few days all roads blocked.

This is the wettest year I have ever seen here, or know about. The new house is actually around a foot higher than the old one that was in the same spot. I am not aware of it ever being flooded. I never got flooded in, all of the vehicles had sufficient clearance, the ute was the one to watch as its cooling fan throws water all over the distributor, given the chance & its already destroyed two dizzy caps in its life.

Sent you & Brad a set of photo's (abt1M) to show situation.
