Wanted Bayonet Plugs (Ferris Car Radio Style)
A lot of 40's audio amps use them and I have about quite a few so would like to
make up cables for them.
Bayonet Car lamps are 9mm and just slightly to big to fit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Josh

That was probably an Imperial size either way it would be an idea to present us with its diameter, rather than only that which does not fit. I would suspect 21/64" (5/16" is smaller) as I have an Astor car radio here & its socket hole is 8.3mm. Those are not that complex. The Hobby Shops often carry brass tubing, washers & rod. Engineering: Springs. For audio nylon would not melt so engineering for that. I will inspect some of the junk here.

I agree that it's most likely imperial, so let us know the dimensions.

These were also used in automotive fuse holders in the 50s.
