Hi All.

I have an AVO 8 mk2 multimeter and matching Grundy transistor tester I am thinking of selling.
What do you guys reckon they are worth?
Sell together or seperately?
If I put them on ebay I have to set a realistic minimum price, but obviously, if that is too high, it wont sell. Too low and, well, you know the answer.

The AVO 8 is in good working condition. It still has the original (probably) 15Volt battery but it will need a 1.5Volt D cell.
The Grundy transistor tester is in excellent (museum ready?) condition, and also has the two 4.5Volt batteries. They measure 4.3-ish volts each but cant supply the 40ma the battery test requires.

Any guesses/offers?

Jeff

From what I've seen on eBay, and at HRSA auctions, there's not a huge demand for AVO 8s these days.

I haven't seen a Grundy tester in the flesh, but it may generate some interest among those who collect vintage test equipment.

I would list them separately. Anyone interested in both will see both auctions (and you can say "see my other items" in the descriptions as well)

I never try to put a value on such things. At the end of the day it's the buyer (if any) who determines that.
