Hi all,as the topic says I'm looking for a tube tester. I've recently had some tested by a fellow and now I'd like to have my own tester. I'd say I'll have to get one from the US but thought i'd try on here first. Never know your luck eh..
Anyhow,i'm looking for one in very good condition that tests transconductance on all tube types and hopefully subminiature tubes as well.
Any information on where any may be hiding would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks

So would I.

II'm looking for one in very good condition

Depending on the model, expect to pay top dollar for it because they are sought after by American collectors. (I had an onslaught of last minute bidders on the B&K I bought years ago.)

Here are some tips on Hickok:

"The main reason why particular testers are on this page is that, it is easier to find tube test data for these models, and/or these models are easier to repair. I am not saying that you should not purchase a Hickok like a 750 or 580 at the right price and condition, however in the absence of other considerations, these are good choices"

Must it be a Hickok?

I have two coming up for sale, a Paton and an AVO.

When I get them out I will put them up on here for sale, if there's interest.
